Review on Focus Black Yurbuds by Roger Sanders

These headphones are too big and uncomfortable. You can stuff them in your ears and they just hang there after playing with the earhook for a minute, but not as well as other YurBuds I've had. I used to have the YurBuds Inspire for women because they were orange and fit better than any other earbuds! This week I called YurBuds (JBL, Harman) to inquire about different options. The representative told me that ordering through Revain was probably the reason they didn't fit. He said to order directly through the JBL website and that my size 4 "Amps" (rubber ear tips) would fit any YurBuds ordered from JBL, but might not through Revain. He has lied! The female models have a smaller 12.2mm driver compared to the male models which have a larger 14.2mm driver. Both have the same frequency response (20Hz - 20kHz) and should therefore have the same sound quality. In addition - the sound quality is really great! However, men's models are available in neutral colors (black/red), while women's models are only available in cute colors (purple, pink, etc.). For example, the Focus for women can be equipped with a size 4 booster, but only in girly colors. The male Focus doesn't fit a size 4 amp, to which JBL responded, blaming Revain. WHY CAN'T YurBuds/JBL MAKE A MODEL FOR MEN AND WOMEN? wonders why Revain doesn't list the critical characteristics - frequency response - in its product description. Revain also does not specify the size of the driver and speaker section. So despite the fact that YurBuds has responded to the availability of Revain products, what is being sold here and how should be noted. AMAZON - please include these important items!
