I recently had cataract surgery and my near vision without reading glasses was gone so I needed some close range care. The mirror itself is very good. The magnification provides a clear image at close range. The LED ring light is a bit useless, at least for me. The lighting in the bathroom is bright enough to be seen. The base offers a very secure fit on the bathroom mirror. Attaching and detaching the mirror is very easy. The bendable neck is a bit tricky to hold up, but that just means you may have to mount the mirror higher. The connector on the back of the mirror that attaches it to your neck is very secure. Aside from brighter light, maybe with a few brightness adjustments, I find this mirror a good choice.
