Bracket: When I first bought this tripod phone bracket, I initially expected a typical Chinese pose. But surprisingly well done. The plastic feels solid and the screw for the two halves of the clamp is metal. The clip has a slight curve on the inside to keep your device securely in place. It opens to a maximum of 4 inches (more and the bolt falls out). I have a Samsung S7 with an Otterbox case and it fits with no problems. It will compress the screen protector causing it to bend, but I believe that's just my case. And it really wasn't a problem. Remote Control: Exactly what I expected. Cheap but does what I need. The battery was built in, which bothered me, but it still worked. It's connected to Bluetooth via a small switch on the side. IOS and Android buttons do the same thing regardless of the device. And to play and stop videos on the S7, I had to go into settings and change what the volume buttons do. So it has only to do with the volume. But otherwise he takes a picture. And I needed that.
