After consulting with a beautician who suggested that I use Efaclar products on my mixture and problem skin, I decided to purchase a large quantity of La Roche-Posay goods instead. I went to the pharmacy that was most convenient to me and bought not one but two different kinds of washing gels, one of which is going to be our protagonist. Because the gel removes makeup, there is no need to repeat the process even if you wash off an oil mask because it foams perfectly, one pea is all that is needed to produce a generous amount of foam, which is sufficient for one application, and there is no need to use more than one pea. The gel still dries out the skin, then tightens it, so you can't do without very good moisturizing. Additionally, this product is not at all suitable for people who have sensitive skin because it will cause itching and peeling, and it is quite potent for the colder months. This is one of the cons that I have noticed.
