The first impression was good. The flashlight feels sturdy and like it could take the weight of a charging elephant. The magnet on the end cap is strong enough to hold it in most positions. Right side up for a more secure fit and upside down for hanging on your car's hood. Also horizontally if the metal surface is smooth enough. And the articulation that Artikulation gives is just great. One of my favorite parts of a flashlight is the clip, which can be adjusted in a variety of ways. You can clip it to your hands-free hat or jacket and turn your head to light your way when you're not wearing a hat. So point to design because it's just plain cool. But it's so unreliable! Maybe it's the magnetic cover interfering with the battery, but this thing never lights up all the time. Sometimes a few hard hits will do the trick, but it won't work. Do not buy this very cheap product because while it looks cool, it leaves you in the dark. It doesn't even drain batteries, I tested so many new batteries at once and now it just won't light up. I am very disappointed in this flashlight. Mainly because the concept is so functional but the actual product is a real crap. Buyer Warning!
