This bag is very cute! The gold isn't flashy, although it's a bit lighter than I thought it would be. Here I have it in front of my standard sized laptop bag so you can see the bag is about as wide but not as deep so at least it doesn't feel like you're carrying something huge. Also, the material itself is quite light, which helps keep it light. I'm all for real leather bags, but I find that the weight of the bag + the weight of my stuff makes it difficult to carry around. This bag is comfortable. My only complaint is that my phone doesn't fit in the pockets, but I'll also admit that I have a huge phone (Galaxy S9+).
