These shoes are very good, fit as expected. I don't know about arch support as I removed the arches and put in my own due to my plantar fasciitis. I use Birkenstock earbuds and they fit very well. The reason I took the stars off was mainly because they are fabric and while I like them, they absorb water. DO NOT wear them in the rain or snow, your feet will get wet. They are comfortable, wide and overall I like them, but the fact that they get your feet wet in snow/rain or puddles is very disappointing.
