(There was also an older version that doesn't work with this hub) The software requires ridiculous permissions. Almost total control over the phone. Audio, camera, photos, contacts, etc. Why should I pay for hardware that requires Samsung's proprietary data-mining spyware to "run"? So, after installing new software, you will find that it lacks functionality. You will be presented with a list of Samsung branded devices to choose from. SAMSUNG BRAND SMART OUTLET IS NOT ONE OF THESE DEVICES AT THE TIME I WRITE THIS REVIEW. Bad software, ridiculous permissions and it doesn't recognize a non-Samsung Z-Wave device or a Samsung device. I had it too long before. to be told it's not working, so I can't go back to Revain. Hence this rating. Don't buy that crap from Samsung.
