Review on 🚰 KOHLER Aquifer Cartridge Filtration System 77685 NA by Chris Hazzard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the best water filter system for DIY water purification!

, I have tried different brands and models. Some of them were difficult to install (GE; the gasket is too thick making the cap difficult to tighten even with a water filter wrench) or too expensive to maintain (Body Glove etc.). THIS water filtration system from Kohler was incredibly easy to install and relatively inexpensive to replace filters ($50 each at Revain). A NOTICE. I am very careful with anything water/plumbing or electricity related. I prefer to hire professionals to touch on these aspects of my home. However, I could not afford an expensive plumber. So I studied YouTube tutorial videos and did a lot of online tests. This Kohler Aquifer filtration system seemed like the right solution. After getting a filtration system (and going to Home Depot to get some fittings for my bifurcated cold water shut-off pipe (one that ran to an old/unused Insta Hot faucet), and a faucet with a Kohler water filter Bought in polished nickel (up to Replace the Insta Hot faucet) I safely installed this Kohler filter system It was relatively easy and straightforward NOTE: Leave a few inches of space under the filter for it to unscrew/remove can be removed when it's ready for replacement." I've been using this system for about 3.5 months. It's great. (The reason I got this filter is because I upgraded the fridge to a model that has NO water or ice maker I was sick of the reliability issues I wanted a long lasting reliable fridge (after my Samsung fridge started having problems after only 8 years te!) The only potential downside is that my family loves drinking kohl-filtered water so much that I'll probably have to replace the filter every 5 months (Koler recommends every 6 months).
