I have a broken key that always sends unlock signals when it gets wet or rainy and I had to block the signal. On the Honda, this repeated signal causes all the windows to roll down simultaneously. My wife has threatened to throw my key fob in the sea if I don't fix it (it's her car and she doesn't want wet or snowy seats). There is no signal loss in the trunk when checking on the door, console or rear view mirror. In order to unlock the car and drive, I have to open the bag and at least partially remove the key fob. Works well, seems about as small as I'll get among the cheap options, and looks better than the aluminum foil I wrapped. around the keychain lately (ultra-cheap option!)
