Review on Sylvania H11B SilverStar Ultra High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb - Brightest Downroad with Whiter Light, High Beam, Tri-Band Technology (Pack of 2 Bulbs) by Phil Prater

I only use these Sylvania SilverStar Ultras in my two cars. They are whiter and brighter than the original or regular bulbs (if you don't notice a difference try a headlight lens restorer as your headlight lenses are probably faded or dull in which case you probably won't notice a difference). I see short life reports on them and I think people either touch the bulbs when installing (resulting in very short bulb life so DO NOT touch the glass on the bulbs just the base, I also use vinyl gloves to clean mine to install). Another possibility for short life is that they turn on their headlights 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which obviously shortens life. I live in Wisconsin, which has cold winters and short days most of the year, so my flashlights are getting used to it. I just got one of these out for my Santa Fe (H11B low beam) and installed it in May 2017 so one lasted just over 2 years 6 months and the other is still working. . Of course, I swap them out in pairs, so I keep the one that still works as a spare in case one fails, which gives me time to replace. So if you install them properly and not leave the lights on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you will last them for several years. The slightly higher price is worth it as they are whiter and lighter.
