Really bright, good for incandescent bulbs

I don't know how long they will last as we just got them but they are a lot brighter than the originals in my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Older model

Not worth the money compared to standard bulbs

The reason I paid 3x the price of a standard bulb was I needed a much brighter bulb but I can't tell a real difference so not worth the money .

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Negligible repairability

Brighter than the original, too bad it didn't last long

Installed in rubber gloves, a new bulb from the box fell into the cartridge, and the right headlight only burned out again after a couple of months . Pretty disappointed.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are flaws

Very bright Incandescent compatible

I've read a lot of comments and I can't understand what "buy again" means. Any good driver knows that lightbulbs don't last a lifetime, that's physics. Why don't you buy a guarantee? It's much cheaper than the cheapest Chinese bulbs). About the product - it seems too bright to me, you can see the road very clearly even when they are fully lowered

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested
Cons
  • Frequency

Major Stock Headlight Update

The headlights on my Elantra Touring have always been junk. I live in a rural area where there are no street lights and have always driven with high beams on. My light burned out so I decided to replace them with something supposedly brighter. I figured I could always return them if I wanted to. Worth every penny. The projection distance is longer and the overall brightness is about 40-50% higher.

Pros
  • Few Competitors
Cons
  • Unreliability

They advertise with a whiter light. Almost like that

This light is fine, but it's not white at all. It is very yellow and looks old/thrifty. They're bright and shine quite well on the road, so they shine pretty well, but they're not white, which is disappointing. The designation "white" is probably not visible to the naked eye or only if it is in perfect condition. Again, these aren't bad lights, but they look really good in yellow.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

I only buy these

I only use these Sylvania SilverStar Ultras in my two cars. They are whiter and brighter than the original or regular bulbs (if you don't notice a difference try a headlight lens restorer as your headlight lenses are probably faded or dull in which case you probably won't notice a difference). I see short life reports on them and I think people either touch the bulbs when installing (resulting in very short bulb life so DO NOT touch the glass on the bulbs just the base, I also use vinyl gloves…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
