Waste of $$$ Bought to shed my 12 year old dog's paw who was dying and my arm. I called 800# for the customer support that came with the package. The technician told me that I could coat my dog's paw with petroleum jelly between the pads of the toes and any fur on the paw and legs before placing it in the alginate gel. I trimmed all the hair between the soles of her feet and around her toes before even trying the petroleum jelly. It did not work. When we finished pouring the plaster, I didn't have a usable mold left. As the gel set my hand and her paw became thoroughly stuck in it and it took a lot of movement to try even remove us. My dog was sent to heaven by the vet the same day.
