It's not the most perfect design, but it's good enough for my needs. At first he kept my clothes quite faithfully. Remember to check your hinges before you buy - if the door hinges are in a corner, do you need the items listed in that corner? Is there a hinge it makes sense to attach it to? I found that my front door was not possible as access to the circuit breaker next to it was less than 2 inches from the hinges on a vertical wall; My bedroom door is also in a weird corner and I'm a little weird with clothes etc keep rubbing against the wall/door when it's opened. My bathroom = flush with the wall = perfect. My loops could go either way, but for my use it's been best to keep them out in the hallway - what do I care if anyone sees my robe should they ever go back there? Oh, if you can't figure out how to use the top object, decorate it! Wire faux flowers, your favorite kid's weird creation, or one of those funny "sawmen" you make in your shop class to walk up to the counter and swing back and forth with a thick wooden blade that mimics the action of sawing. Be creative. Just don't use it to hang spooky dolls for the common good, at least not at times other than Halloween.
