I'm new to the world of vinyl cutting with Cricut, but this is the fourth type of vinyl I've tried. I thought others cut well and were easy to work with, but now I know better. This package arrived last night, just in time for a project I was due to finish at noon today. The sheets folded but unfolded quite easily, much easier than the rolls you buy at an art supply store. When they straightened, they didn't puff up either, which could be because they weren't rolled that tight, or it could be because the vinyl was higher quality. In any case, I was immediately satisfied with my purchase. The colors are also bright and beautiful. What really sets this vinyl apart is how beautifully it cuts. The day before it arrived I carved a word with a small I in it using vinyl from a cheaper craft and hobby store. I cut out four specimens and three of them lost the dot in the letter that I had when cutting. Weeding out the rest of the cuts wasn't too bad, but it did require some detail and focus. I tried the same cut with this vinyl and all four copies cut perfectly with no missing dots. I sat down in front of the TV to sort everything out, knowing full well that it would take some time. This vinyl proved me wrong. Everything but the inside of the letters E and O etc. was captured in one simple motion, with a little jiggling but no detail or focus. It is then separated from the liner onto the transfer tape and transferred directly to the can. which I have used with very little effort. The cuts did not distort, attempt to tear, or make life difficult in any way. I don't need the vinyl from the craft store anymore!
