I love the vintage diver look of this style of bracelet and this bracelet is a perfect fit at a great price. As others have pointed out, it is actually NOT a quick release as indicated in the product name. Buy it anyway and fiddle with your spring bars and fork tool to get this thing on your watch. It only takes a few minutes and as soon as you put it on you will fall in love with the look of your diving watch - hello 1965! As it was on a steel bracelet and they worked fine I don't know if they are thick or not. They looked "normal" but I don't know enough to tell the difference. Aside from the "quick release" misnomer, some oddities to note is that my strap arrived in a plastic bag that appeared to be labeled for a cell phone gel case and had the words "Seiko" on the product SKU. I assume that this is sold abroad as a pure counterfeit product. Also, mine arrived with a noticeable black coating that had rubbed my fingers off when I put it on my watch. No problem, it's a diving watch, right? Before putting it on your wrist, wash it well with soap and water. Do you like this strap? Buy now!
