Very durable, good construction and finish. This would be the perfect stand if it weren't for two 17 inch laptops (HP Pavilions) neither of which are at any angle on the stand. Larger laptops tend to have thicker bases (and are heavier), while HP's bases are tilted back. Front. The two hooks on the stand aren't high enough, and laptops slide right on them at any angle (silicone pads don't support the weight alone). Another 0.25 inch high for hooks. made a difference. The base of these laptops is 0.75 inch thick. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars but I had to send it back because it just didn't work. If you don't have this problem, then this stand is your best choice.
