Review on Heavy Duty Speaker Wall Mount by Ronnie Toups

Hang 'em High best in Accessories & Supplies

I used these brackets for a pair of Bose 201 vintage speakers from '97 hanging high on a wooden wall for a 5.2 A/V system are hung. For my work, the included fasteners to connect the two pieces of the mount were the only ones that worked for the installation. The rest I attached with screws to the speakers and screws to the block wall. That's what I expected for my setup. I noticed the arrow on the brackets as a guide, useful when you can't see half the speaker hanging off half the wall. One of mine came pre-assembled with an arrow pointing up and the bracket pointing down. Easy to fix. Simply remove the vertical angle adjustment screw, flip the round plate over and reattach. Two minute correction, peaks. When connecting two halves of a mount, the plastic covers can be confusing as one of the three per mount is a single piece holding the other two together. Trying to put the two halves of the lid together after the entire lid has been pressed against the wall is frustrating or impossible. It's better to note that diagram #3 in the instructions shows the assembly order, but might not be as frustrating as I found out before the job was successfully completed.
