The dollhouse you dream of

I bought this dollhouse for my daughter's fifth birthday (that's tomorrow) and I know she will love it. When I looked online for options this was her favorite for the features/design and mine too as it seemed to be the best in quality and price. So we saved for that. Yes the price is high but you get what you pay for - quality in this case. The house looks very nice, strong. It comes with enough furniture/accessories to fit into any space, although you can buy add-ons to make it more complete/complete. For example, in my photos we have additional sets for the children's room and dining room from Hape, as well as a set of kitchen utensils (bottles, boxes, utensils) from Haba, which are mostly in the refrigerator and in cupboards, so they are not very good in the photo recognize. There's space in the parent's closet, and we have a Hub doll with a few outfits, so maybe we'll keep her clothes in there. The top room is empty now, but that's not because there was nothing to store there. go there We will be putting an extra Hape nursery there - just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. We also plan to put a Haba linen set in the bathroom, a Haba rabbit cage on the balcony or in the room next to the living room, and a Haba kitten in the children's room. By the way, Hape makes a lovely set of three pets (dog, cat and rabbit); it's just that my daughter already has a haba and they fit well. With no additions, I would think of making a "double living room" (as shown in the maker's photo) and either leaving the top room really empty, like a second balcony. There's an empty space under the kitchen, and I hear you can park Hape's car there. Haba's veterinary machine is also suitable, as we have seen. I also think this space would be useful for keeping the dolls horizontal. We don't have any Hape dolls (again, not yet - who knows?!) but we do have a lot of Haba Little Friends dolls, which is why we bought this house. As with the pets mentioned above, Hape dolls (the wooden dolls shown in the manufacturer's photos) are also ideal for this home; we just already have Haba. Really appreciate being able to mix/match the two lines! The assembly wasn't difficult. If you're not used to assembling wooden furniture etc, it can be difficult or intuitive. But if you look at the instructions beforehand and think about everything, then it's not a problem. It took about an hour from opening the box to putting the last piece of furniture in place. This includes unpacking (bubble wrapped items), reading instructions, taking inventory of parts, etc. I'm not very 'skillful' so I took my time to make sure I wasn't making a fatal mistake. Someone else could probably assemble it quicker than me, especially with an assistant. My top assembly tips are: 1) read the instructions first, 2) make sure you have all the parts and get them in order, 3) line up all the screws in the holes before tightening them on this side (because then you won't have a problem with mismatched screws due to misaligned holes) and 4) take your time to work comfortably and safely. I can't imagine my daughter not loving this house given all the expectations and the absolute beauty it is. If this disappoints you, I'll update to include your comments. I also hope to be able to take better photos when the gift is actually delivered. It's hanging in a corner of the basement right now, so my apologies if the photos aren't clear enough to be helpful. All in all, this is a dream dollhouse. Any little girl or boy will love it and enjoy it for many years to come. It's also definitely big enough and has enough hotspots for two kids to easily play together. I'm so glad we bought it and definitely recommend it. Thank you Hape!
