Amazing tech support
I bought three encoders (all H.264 models), two for work and one for personal use. I use them to test video transmission over simulated satellite links in the lab. When I encountered the video quality degradation issue, the technical support responded quickly to help me. It turned out that the degradation was caused by a faulty switch on my network. That being said, all of the devices I've purchased record good quality video and seem reasonably reliable.
