Pros 1000mAh battery is real. Most other controllers are around 600mAh, which is enough for multiple gaming sessions. The controller feels heavier and more solid, unlike most third-party controllers which feel light and flimsy. It's not overly heavy, indicating good build quality. - The rumble is stronger than the joycon, but does not have the three-dimensionality of standard controllers. - The home button can enable a toggle when many other 3rd party controllers cannot. - The NFC sensor works great with Amiibo. - No stick drift (yet). - Pairing was extremely easy via the change grip/order feature in system settings or connecting the controller via USB-C CONS: - Not a fan of the star pattern on the grips (personal preference only). - Buttons and d-pad are too clicky (but buttons and triggers are ok). - The main disadvantage is the occasional input lag. Sometimes I boot up the Switch and there is horrible input lag while driving. Usually, restarting the switch or, in the worst case, re-pairing the controller will fix the problem.
