Champion of Clippers

I've been cutting my hair for over two decades and my haircut is absolutely zero at everything. My starter was Walmart's Basic Wahl and then I upgraded to an Oster Fast Feeder. After several moves, time had taken its toll on my Easter and I was looking for a new hair clipper. After several days of research I had to decide between the Oster Octane and the Andis ZR II. I chose a brand that has worked well for me for at least ten years and the results have been day and night. I was expecting the hair cutting experience to be a little better because it was cordless, but I was far from it. The hair clipper cuts hair easily and evenly. When I cut my hair, I usually have an obsessive-compulsive disorder, because uneven hair with the same length is very noticeable. The usual time to cut my hair is around 30 minutes, but with the new clippers I have around 18 minutes. In addition, ergonomics and balanced weight ensure that it is light and comfortable in the hand. I can't say much about the battery, but most users say it has great battery life. My only complaint is that the blade heats up a bit, but I don't use it long enough to see it heat up. I see this can be a problem for professional barbers. This problem exists not only with this trimmer, but also with metal blades. Some owners recommend purchasing detachable ceramic blades. Overall I highly recommend the Oster Octane and was very surprised at how different it was from my Oster Fast Feeder.
