Simple answer OK. I wanted to connect a wired subwoofer to the subwoofer output jack as shown in the Revain image. There was no jack in my block, just a plugged hole. Therefore 4 stars. I pulled out the front grille, then unscrewed the electronics box on the right and connected the jack cable to the red and black wires behind the jack hole. The subwoofer seems to work well with this channel. I now have good bass response, although it seems like it adds more base at low volumes. The sub also works without hum. I've found that this soundbar boots up automatically when you turn it on in the Blue Tooth settings. I'm happy with it! Now I can connect my subwoofer and soundbar via the energy saving socket. I used an energy saving outlet and it powers up by itself when the TV is turned on with the included remote control. It also works with my computer. I connected an energy efficient outlet to my computer monitor. When the computer monitor is off, it is off, does not consume power and is as quiet as possible. Great, most soundbars don't. I also unplug my printer with an energy-saving outlet. I first bought a Bose soundbar for $250. It didn't start by itself. It came with a large remote that could be used to program both the TV and soundbar. I don't need another remote control for my TV. This is a sophisticated Smart TV that works best with its own remote control. I have basic service from my cable provider. I am now being told that I need a converter box with another separate remote control. I can program your remote control to control my TV. Again, I don't want any other remote control for my TV. I was so glad that this soundbar boots up by itself when you turn it on. The soundbar has a remote control; However, I don't need it every time I turn on the TV. The panel doesn't save its settings, but I can compensate for that with the TV settings. I was hoping to keep it set up, but it only loads the Blue Tooth at about half the amplitude. Finally it's what this customer wants, no need for an additional remote soundbar. I also use a soundbar with my computer. I connect a computer monitor to the power saving sensor port. Good work! It has nothing to do with this soundbar, but the Windows 10 master volume control does not work in Windows 10. The soundbar starts up at maximum volume. To fix this, go online and follow the instructions on how to disable absolute volume. That worked great for me. Not if the Couputer monitor is connected to the soundbar and the subwoofer is delivering good volume. It was a lot of work to get what I wanted but now that I got it I'm happy.
