Review on 🎙️ BTECH IP54 Rainproof Shoulder Speaker Mic - QHM22 Platinum Series for BaoFeng, BTECH, and Kenwood Radios by Norman Costello

ORIGINAL: This mic will perform as good as the OEM mic that comes with our Motorola BPR40 radios. (PMMN40xx series remote microphones). UPDATE May 11, 2019: Since I was so impressed with the first unit I received, I recently ordered a second unit to have one in the car and the other at work. The second unit is nondescript and sounds similar to the $12 Baofeng radios you can find at Revain. The saving grace, however, is that the headphone jack appears to be a pass-through, so audio quality is maintained with an earbud. (Only the built-in speaker, which sucks - it sounds very tinny.) Interestingly, my second unit may have been made BEFORE I received the first, although it was purchased almost two years later. Also, the second unit I bought has a slightly different power strip and the cable out of the box seems more confusing than the first.
