I bought this hub on purpose because it had a full-size (ie non-swivelling) ethernet port. I wish the VGA port had been replaced with something more modern and useful, but my plan was to just use two USB ports and an Ethernet port. Well, the ethernet port was completely non-functional. I have a replacement on the way, but after reading a few other reviews of failed ethernet ports I'm a little nervous - even if it works on arrival, how long can I expect it to work? Not much faith in this $53 hub. UPDATE: The replacement device also has a non-working ethernet port, but this second device makes a weird buzzing sound when plugged in, even with nothing plugged into it. Somehow I had a spare block that was more broken than the one it replaced.
