Solenoid valve isn't what it used to be

Silent Pocket has gotten worse. A solenoid valve is used for safe closing. Production should just do things without testing them before they walk out the door. My guess is that maybe they're using less magnets or something because it's not like it used to be. The ones I had prior to this last purchase make a faint click and stay closed. A new purchase has a defective valve that just pops. Now it's literally a flapping flap. Even if I squeeze the valve, it doesn't stay. I replaced the first item and this replacement has the same problem. I will not keep this one as it is of unacceptable quality. If I could I would solve the problem by adding stronger magnets like strong neodymium. But as designed, it looks wrong or ends up with sewn holes that compromise locking properties and aesthetics. I am very disappointed in this product. It could be better than it used to be, or even better with stronger magnets. If you want your product to get better, don't skimp on magnets. It has to close well to be effective!
