It's more than I thought it would be, but it's good because I'm obviously having trouble buying a blanket. I was able to fit a large queen size comforter, 1 queen size duvet cover and pillowcases, a towel and 12 different bedspreads. There is still room! It makes a full size beanbag. Now I wasn't planning on using it as a chair, but it's nice to have my legs thrown up when I'm sitting on the couch. I put a fleece blanket over it because cats love fleece and it took Sonja about 5 minutes to find it and stretch out on it in front of the TV. She loves it. It really helped me get rid of the mess and since I put it near the sofa it's very easy for me to get another bedspread or blanket if needed. It has a very large zipper that goes all the way around so it's very easy to get in or put things in. It also has two carrying handles.
