Great coat for the price

This is a great coat for the price. The reason I say "for the price" is because we've definitely had better coats that were a bit more expensive from companies like Lands' End and LL Bean. Lightning works well, practically does not stick. The waterproof shell keeps the inner fleece warm and dry. It seems to block the wind well in our mid-western climate where the weather can change rapidly throughout the day. That was important to me because sometimes, when our child goes to school, the prognosis is mild, but then it gets very cold. The collar is high enough to cover the scarf and keep the wind out. The hood is not detachable which is unlike most coats I've ordered in the past but that doesn't matter as we usually leave it on anyway. . The cuffs are elasticated and have velcro closures so they can be tightened around gloves/mittens. My favorite feature is probably the reflective logo on the front of the jacket, which helps the rider see my child better. The pockets are well thought out. There are two zipped pockets to keep your belongings safe. There are also two fleece-lined pockets. Very, very good jacket for the price!

Pros
  • That's a great coat!! Warm and waterproof! Perfect for a rainy fall day!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor activities such as skiing and snowboarding.
