Although the price is right, here's what I found with what I have. 1. Motion Detection - Any setting other than the lowest setting will continually display false alerts. Like 45 in under 10 minutes. At the minimum value, even walking in front of the camera is not triggered when motion is detected. 2. Monitored via PC with their app, no warning and no way to freeze the picture even it says it's online. To clear this you need to close the program, go to the phone app and restart the camera. 3. Although the image quality is okay, there is significant lag and it's quite jerky in motion. As for the main surveillance system, I don't trust this device. Updated 4/18/2020: The camera no longer stays online when viewed on a PC. After restarting the camera and even turning off and restarting the camera, it still won't stay online. It only works about half the time in the phone app. Wansview said they sent out new software but never received it. They also said they would return the money for the camera, this didn't happen.
