I have a Dell XPS that only has two USB-C ports and no USB-A or HDMI ports. I have an expensive and large Dell docking station at home, but I needed a small docking station that I could use when traveling. It's perfect, I get 3 USB-A ports, an HDMI port, a bonus SD card reader and an additional USB_C port. It works great, I can connect my bluetooth mouse and bluetooth headset to it and they work right away. HDMI works for monitors and when I'm at my desk I have two display ports on my existing dock and this one adds HDMI so I can connect three monitors in parallel. Another feature I like is the pass-through charging, so I can plug this hub into my charger, monitor and mouse and only have one USB-C connection to my laptop and only need to disconnect one when I'm on my laptop to take to the meeting.
