We have a problem with plastic. A"Disposable straws" - a huge problem. I didn't want to switch to a reusable straw, but I tried. On the plus side, I'm not throwing away another plastic straw. It keeps well in its case along with the cleaning brush. It doesn't leak. The rubber tip is nice, but these straws do just fine without them. The only problem is that the diameter of the straw could be a bit wider. I drank soda with crushed ice. Pieces of ice kept getting stuck. But that would be my only complaint. Other than that, I think it's a smart move. I'm so impressed I have one in my car and at home as well as spares for guests. We will also give gifts to friends this Christmas season.
