Let me start by saying that I work on my feet in an environment where slip resistance is a must. I bought these because a few years ago I had another pair of Skechers that were among the best. the best shoes i have ever had. I liked them so much I decided to order them again only to find they were discontinued. I chose them as a replacement, but despite my best hopes, they're not quite the same. In fact, this is far from the case. They're okay in terms of slip resistance, but they really lack comfort and fit compared to other Skechers I've had. Although I ordered the same size as in the past, I found them to be a lot narrower in the toe - so much so that it hurts a little in my big toe after a few hours of wearing them. They also lack arch support, which is why not only my legs hurt after a long shift, but my back hurts as well. Not wanting to spend any more money, I tormented myself with them for about three months. By the end of that time my back was constantly hurting and I had plantar fasciitis again - something I hadn't experienced in years thanks to the right shoes. The shoes also showed clear signs of wear; more than I expected in such a short time. I'm very picky about my boots but they don't seem to be durable to me. At least they are not as expensive as some other non-slip shoes. I think I got what I paid for.
