later Pros: Excellent daytime video and decent audio. Silent operation of the camera. The app is easy to use. Support number 1-800 responded quickly Cons: Poor night vision. Cameras are often disabled and no longer appear in the app. The reset process usually fails. Support can only tell you to go through the reset process - no further advice, and choose not to cancel your subscription ($5/month for a cloud recording camera). I bought two of these cameras a little over a year ago. They worked well for a few weeks but stopped working when we left the country. It's very frustrating, but I understand what's happening. When we got back I kept trying to get it working, including multiple calls to customer service. They would never reunite. About a week ago I bought new cameras (Wyze Cam) but I wasn't satisfied with their work (the whole camera moves noisily to track every movement - very distracting and annoying). So I pulled this kind of vivitar IPC117 360 and miraculously was able to get it working again and resume my cloud recording service. The app is easy to use. The only downside is the poor night vision. Very grainy. About 4 days later when everything was working perfectly, I opened my app to check last night's activity and it says I don't have any cameras connected. I called support. I had to go through the "add a new device" process but to no avail. He said to call my wifi service provider and ask for 2.4 instead of 5.0. My modem has both, and the cameras seem to have been running for days. Still, I need something much more reliable. I asked the support agent to just delete my account and he kept saying he couldn't. Serious?
