Not working - access control keypads

Looks like DOA. The instructions state that adding batteries causes four beeps. He beeps twice and that's all he does. No other displays or beeps, reading RFID cards or key fobs will do the trick. Extremely disappointed.

Pros

RFID 125kHz copier reads RFID card formats EM4100, 1386/1346/1326, 10301 10304 etc and writes same number on writable key fobs in shipping box
