Versatile Lightweight Compact Digital Camera

I was looking for an upgrade to my point and shoot camera that would really teach me about photography without being too heavy to carry around . I found what I was looking for in this camera - it has a lot of automatic scene mode features, but it has interchangeable lenses, live guides offering advice on taking specific photos, and manual settings for aperture priority and shutter priority. There are also easy-to-use video settings with good quality. I am still learning how to use this camera but have walked it 3 times so far and have been pleased with the photos I have taken. It takes a while to select the settings you want to tweak and get used to how the settings are changed, but for the most part the menus are easy to navigate. It's a great choice for those who want more than just "snapshots" but don't want to carry around a high-performance DSLR. The resolution of the photos is excellent - I was able to get a couple of very good quality 5x7 enlargements. The only drawback for me is the missing viewfinder, which makes it difficult to see in very bright light. However, the viewfinder can be purchased separately. This camera has so many different options that I can't name them all, but it's definitely a versatile and high-quality compact digital camera.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • A few little things
