I was afraid that they are too big because I am a small person. They're a bit big and yes, they can be harder to breathe in when you have the filter in, but here's what I like about them: 1. They're soft - how very soft on your skin2. The ear tips are adjustable and more elastic / cause less pressure than other masks I've tried3. The insert has holes on both ends - other masks only have a filter hole on one side, and then it takes a lot of work to lay the filter flat because it's narrow. It's much easier.4. Covers the face well.5. Strange coding - obviously!
