I like the overall design of these sterling silver earrings but there is always a risk with huggie clasps. I was disappointed that the loops on both earrings were very loose. You can rock them back and forth too easily, which means they may end up breaking in half. Also, the clasp on one earring was completely broken and wouldn't snap into my ear. Being a jewelry designer I was able to fix it so that it closes. However, it doesn't close as securely as it should and never will. Thus, one earring closes and the other does not, although it now remains closed. I love how extremely light these earrings are; Chains are surprisingly light! So you don't feel anything in my ears and I like that. They are delicate and beautiful. I only wish the quality was much better. I would not recommend these earrings.
