The straps are the best in backpacks
The straps are cotton not nylon. and made rings do some damage. It's very cute, my son loves it. It's not as roomy as I thought because the pillow takes up most of its space. I can fit a small bag of chips and 1 diaper. not for long journeys. Wading to make it an everyday bag, but only for quick rides.
