I bought it for a non-standard tool but for the same purpose
Mounted a tire changer bar for use with a manual tire changer with this product. Works almost as well as an air changer and for the total cost of the tools I have it only blows my mind the few times I use it. I can't tell how it works with the tool provided, but if you want to create a custom duckhead tire changer, this will work for you.
