I am a woman over 60 and have worn Keen children's water shoes in this style for five years. I wear size 6 for "big kids". The first pair I bought were made in China and they are the best in my collection although they are finally starting to wear out. I have two pairs that were made in Vietnam and they do seem to be a bit sturdier (than the Chinese ones) but I like the Chinese feel more. One of the couples from Vietnam has a slight creak. The ones I review are made in Cambodia. They look (and measure) slightly smaller than my Chinese and Vietnamese pairs, but seem just as roomy, if not more, than my other pairs. My feet feel small in them (I usually wear a women's size 8). The main issue I've had with them is that they make a smacking (not exactly squeaky) sound when you walk. I can't hear it when I'm outside, but inside it drives me crazy. Maybe it's because I'm heavier than the usual "big kid" they were made for. But they're half the price of the adult version, and I like them even more, apart from the noise. They were comfortable the first time I wore them (the bruising didn't start until I'd put them on a few times) and didn't need to be broken in. Oh, and I preferred the colors that were offered five years ago, although the current colors are fine. .
