They make work easier and are perfect for the shower wall.
You have to fit between the wall joists so choice of location can be limited and having something in the wall (e.g. electrical boxes from a room behind the wall) complicates the situation. The contractor liked that he placed the boxes in exactly the right places, which made installing the boxes easier. They stuck out far enough that we couldn't use the butt plate and instead bought bits of chrome to attach the boxes to the edges of the tiles.
- HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL. Constructed from lightweight but durable XPS foam with fiberglass webbing and is fully waterproof and vapor proof. Light enough for a single installation but can support heavy tiles. Pre-sealed corners and edges lie flat against the surrounding wall.
