Good shoe for the course but too tight and painful

Update: After buying these shoes I had serious foot problems and had to go back to the New Balance 623. After wearing these shoes I got severe pain in my toes, on the top of my feet, on my sides, in my ankle area. down my achilles tendon and heel. I take lots of NSAIDs, soak my feet in hot and cold water and still not healing. I don't know what happened to this shoe but it's been a nightmare since I bought it and I'm about to make an appointment with an eye doctor. The "general" problems I wrote about at the beginning and below seem to subside as they expand a bit. Original post: Nice shoes but in 2E they don't look like other wide shoes I have and are very narrow. Next time I'll have to look elsewhere for wider shoes so it doesn't hurt as much. These are the tightest shoes I've ever worn. When I'm done with the PBs I have to take them off on the way home, they hurt my legs so much. I NEVER had to do this. I also saw someone say that you can't take the sole out of these shoes because they're glued or something. Not true. I took them out and put in a few with gel and arch support. Taking them out is no problem at all.

Pros
  • That fits well
Cons
  • Versatility is lacking
