Turns off best for heating, cooling and air quality

I got this humidifier a few months ago. It worked fine for a while and a few days ago it only started shutting down after about an hour or so even though the timer wasn't on. I thought I just needed to replace the demineralization cartridge but it still doesn't last. I got this because it has a warm fog function but it's not worth buying.
