I don't have a microwave at work and wanted to be able to eat hot food throughout the workday. So I bought two 12 oz LunchBots and one 8 oz LunchBot after reading so many rave reviews about how they keep food hot for hours. At best, LunchBots keep food warm. When I put food in the containers they were hot. I also didn't follow the fill instructions above the seal line. My oatmeal was warm (not hot) in just 2 hours and my lunch was warm in 5 hours. I had to add boiling water to food at lunchtime to warm it up more. The claim that LunchBots keep food HOT for up to 6 hours is false advertising. This product is a disappointment and a waste of money. One of the few redeeming features is that the containers have a wide mouth, making them easy to eat. The handles also make it easier to hold while eating. I only wish they had done a really good job of keeping the food hot as advertised!
