Had a white camo PS4 controller that died. I didn't quite understand what was going on with him as he wasn't hitting on at all. I used a battery from a PS3 controller that I had properly charged (fortunately the connector types are the same between PS3 and PS4, as are polarity and voltage). A good battery had the controller working, so it was either the PS4 battery or the charging board. When connecting the controller to a PS4 that is powered by the PS3 battery, it did not recognize that it was connected at all. This led me to believe that that charging board in the controller had failed. The item has arrived and I have replaced the original circuit board with this one and presto! Working controller. So if you have a controller that doesn't respond at all when you try to charge it (no light comes on at all), this may help you diagnose the problem. Pay close attention to which board is in your controller. There seem to be three different boards depending on the model, but the version was written on mine, which is why I ended up ordering this one. Just take your time, watch the video on how to disassemble your controller and you'll be fine. Exchange this circuit board!
