They are not kidding when they say they run small. I have 11.5 so I ordered a big one and it's very hard for me to get in. I think it's part of the point, but it's REALLY tight. It seems to offer some support and isn't too clunky in your shoes. I recently had custom orthotics made and it doesn't bother me. I plan to buy them again and get XL this time. There has to be a balance between support and the ability to feel the toes.
