I had to crush the twos and pull on these cords in this particular house I bought. I was sure that I broke the cables several times, but no. They all work great, and the fact that they were white made them less noticeable when walking along a corner batten or gable trim outside. By the way, I didn't realize they actually came with female to female adapters. This means the short cables that came with my camera can be connected together to increase the distance. It wasn't a must have, but it was a very nice addition that I will definitely use in the future.
