I was very impressed with this belt, I had many types and styles and this belt sits in between a tactical belt and a traditional canvas belt. Make sure you order the correct size as it is accurate to the inch. Mine arrived as expected and was perfect for a nice boxing experience with a note on how to handle the strap. The buckle is made of metal painted black with a highly durable automotive paint. The teeth of the buckle that holds the strap are made of plastic. The buckle mechanics take a few tries to get used to, but they hold up and won't slip or move once you adjust them to the correct length. The button/buckle closure looks and feels secure, time will tell how the strap lasts. The sling strap itself feels very heavy and the design still hasn't fallen apart, it has a tactical feel like a sling should be used on boats or heavy straps on a truck. Overall a wonderful belt, if it lasts more than two years of daily use I will be buying many more from the manufacturer.
