Although I watched a few different cake decorating videos before trying any of these sets, everything in this set is definitely great for a newbie like me. I've done a few workouts that haven't worked out very well, but after practicing on styrofoam I'm starting to really enjoy it. The photos I've attached were some of the last cakes I made with this set. As for the tips, they have a little crease that tells you how each tip will look like when you use it. Spinner is my absolute favorite. In fact, it is much easier not only to glaze the cake, but also to decorate it. The pouches provided are reusable and fully washable. I have to soak them in warm soapy water because the fat is left over from the frosting. I turn them inside out and then let them soak. Overall this kit is really easy to use, easy to clean and great for a beginner like me. Even when using these tools on styrofoam for practice, they sometimes still looked like a real cake.
