Really wanted to like it, looks good but poor quality

While I love and appreciate the included screwdriver for assembly, the assembly process for this item was VERY disappointing. The parts didn't seem to have been milled properly and after what felt like an eternity I was finally able to insert the back panel. After tightening the screws, one of the sides broke. (see photo) Then when I put the top on, I open the top door to see the inner frame fall apart! (see photo) It's nice and a good size but doesn't seem very well made. I've tried to get a refund but to do that I would have to return an already assembled part so I'm trying to use wood glue to fix it.
